The Stool Project was the first project done in Maker Space. The purpose of it was to help familiarize us with the shop and the equipment held within. Even so, It was still a project that we worked our best to complete. Our stool was designed to use the entirety of a 2 by 4. Through a rigorous construction process in which we used the miter saw, hand saws, drills, drivers, and a large amount of screws, the stool was completed. Standing at 2 feet tall, the stool, while being somewhat rickety, was quite stable and won the award for being the most comfortable.
