Escape Room

Some time ago, I was involved with helping to craft an escape room for a school event. The multiple people broke into smaller groups and each worked on our own element, which would be combined through narrative after the fact. Our group was overly ambitious and decided to combine many ideas into one and make a make box which opens a puzzle box by being able to spin it. This design could not be finished in time, and we changed the idea, throwing away the spinning mechanism and lessening the size of the maze. Over all, the project did not succeed, but it served as an important lesson in limiting scope and redesigning.
